Do you know Harvard University? Of course yes. Who not knows this famous university. Well, let me tell you some information about it.
Harvard University is the oldest university after Oxford University in the world. It occupies second place as the most popular University in 2015. This university established in September 8, 1636. At the beginning, the name of this university was "New college". Then, it changes become "Harvard College" in March 13, 1639 to appreciated the main contributor, John Harvard. In 1780,it changes again become "Harvard University". Harvard University is the United States' oldest Institution of higher learning. It is located in Cambridge,Massachusetts,United States. Harvard Main Campus is centered on Harvard Yard.
This university has the biggest income among the other universities in the world. It has 12 Faculties, they are Harvard Faculty of Arts and Science, Harvard Medical School, Harvard Divinity School, Harvard Law School,Harvard Business School, Harvard School of Dental Medicine,Harvard extension School,Harvard Graduate School of Design,Harvard Graduate School of Education,Harvard School of Public Health,Harvard Engineering and Applied Sciences School.
Harvard main Campus is centered on Harvard Yard. It contains the central administrative offices and main libraries of the University,academic building including Sever Hall and University Hall,Memorial church and the majority of the freshmen dormitories. Sophomore,junior and senior live in twelve residential Houses. Harvard also provides public transportation via bus service and the read line subway.This university has a luxurious canteen, with wide area and completed with classic modern design. Besides that, Harvard has also the Stadium is located on the opposite of Cambridge Campus.
